Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger is required. If you're using Safari,
click the download link. When the widget download is
complete, show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display
the Widget Bar and click the widget's icon in the Widget
Bar to open it. If you're using a browser other than
Safari, click the download link. When the widget download
is complete, unarchive it and place it in
/Library/Widgets/ in your home folder. show Dashboard,
click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click
the widget's icon in the Widget Bar to open it.
- What's a Countdown Widget?
- Widgets are little apps you can put on your Dashboard
if you're running MacOS 10.4 "Tiger" on your computer.

This Countdown Widget counts down the days, hours,
minutes, and seconds until the event of your choice. You
can set any date, time, and event title you like. You can
also choose not to display the seconds, minutes, and/or
hours. It's very customizable!
- Why Would I want Your Countdown Widget?
- If there's ever an event you're eagerly awaiting -
perhaps your birthday, or the release of a book or film,
or the end of finals week - with Countdown Widget, you'll
be able to check how long you have to go with the press
of a button. The best part about counting down to an
exciting event is that the count always goes in the right
direction! You can use multiple instances of Countdown
Widget to countdown to as many things as you want. Just
drag another one onto Dashboard.
- Known Issues with Countdown Widget
- All known issues have been resolved. If you find any
