Happy iNSD! (That’s interNational Scrapbook Day, for any of my non-scrapping friends!)
Thanks for hopping along with Kelleigh Ratzlaff Designs’ Blog Hop! You just came from Melissa Craig and this is the last stop, but you can start over with Kelleigh’s blog if you’re joining in from the middle. Don’t forget if you leave a comment on each participants blog you will be entered to win a $10 gift card to Kelleigh’s shop at Pixels & Co. What a great way to start iNSD weekend!
Who else loves hybrid? If you do, you’ll want to check out Kelleigh Ratzlaff’s awesome selection of goodies at Pixels & Company. If you haven’t given it a try yet, she’s a great gateway drug into the addictive hobby of bringing your digi stash into the tangible world. Lots of her stuff can absolutely be cut by hand, so Silhouette is not required.
Although I do love my Silhouette, and I used it for this project. 😉
Kelleigh’s Love Cuts aren’t just for pocket scrapping. I used them to make a mother’s day card for my grandmother. (Shhh, don’t tell her!) Cut files are super easy to resize in the Silhouette software so you can make some fun layers in different sizes like I did.
Like the pretty paper I used on those cuts? That’s from Kelleigh, too. I used her In the Garden papers as a fill pattern for the shapes from Love Cuts and used Silhouette’s print and cut feature to get my digi paper onto real life paper! (See? Hybrid is awesome!)
My grandmother is about 6000 miles from me, so I won’t get to see her face when she opens my card, but I’m sure it will make her day.
Thanks for making it all the way to the end of our blog hop! Miss someone? Start over with Kelleigh’s blog! And be sure to check back here at Altered Sky for more hybrid projects, digiscrap layouts, tutorials, and fun in the future. There’s lots more planned!
